Melissa Hopson

Melissa joined the team at Mazuma in June 2013 as a Trainee Bookkeeper following a career change from Retail Management.

Since then, Melissa has continued to study, develop and progress into her current role as an Accountant.

Melissa’s key role within the team is to assist the Head Accountants with various forms of accounts and tax returns, as well as utilising her experience and knowledge to motivate and oversee the development of the team’s data analysts.

Melissa enjoys being at the work place within her job role, maintaining long term client relationships whilst instilling confidence in newer clients by assisting with day to day queries and ensuring deadlines are met.

Recently returning to work following maternity leave, Melissa is currently enjoying raising her daughter and spending time with her husband and family alongside her professional commitments. A keen cocktail enthusiast, Melissa is also an animal lover, and enjoys attending live music events.
